* Icing Cake and different types of icing

* Theory aspect of cake baking and decorating

* Making different types of royal icing flowers; roses, apple blossom, daisy & primrose

* Methods of making cakes; cream and all in one, whiskers

* Making Borders

* Writing messages on a cake

* Measurements of ingredients used


Participants work will be assessed both practically and theoretically.

Special note:

Students are required to purchase items for the course in order to do the practical aspects of the course.
